It seems that separation anxiety if they are OK to be left alone at home. But they may like to remain unsolved. You can not go with him and stay there and get used to being outside, then go after 5 seconds, then let it be if you are not barking, then gradually increase duration? This is not really necessary if you did, what is your business, I do not know why you left a book (or elsewhere)? Three days is a short period. What about crating him when you can not control it from the inside? Seriously, it's a dog and you expect them to be made in full within 3 days, when everything you did hesitate in the way of training? A well thought-out plan by their parents. Adopt a dog and give every workout 4 days before they released in the book. I hope you will not learn from their example of irresponsible
